Sharon Goodwin

SHARON GOODWIN completed a BFA (Painting) in 1997 at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, where she currently teaches. She has shown extensively throughout Australia and internationally, including solo exhibitions at Uplands, Heide Museum of Modern Art, Gertrude Contemporary, West Space, BUS and TCB art inc. She has participated in group exhibitions at the National Gallery of Victoria; RMIT Gallery; Gertrude Contemporary; Monash University Museum of Art; Bendigo Art Gallery; Plimsoll Gallery, Hobart; University of Sydney Gallery; Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney; Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney; University of Queensland Art Museum, Brisbane; Gallery Side 2, Japan; Artspace, Sydney; and Physics Room, New Zealand among other galleries and institutions.

 

Goodwin was a founding  member of TCB art inc. and of the collaborative art group DAMP, and since 2015 she has collaborated with Irene Hanenbergh as Zilverster. Her work is held in collections of the National Gallery of Victoria, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, Monash University as well as numerous private collections.
