Bianca Hester, Hoops: sound tests, performances, documents, 2011–13

Loop #3: Digital video with sound, part 3 of 3 works, 4:44 mins, edition of 3 plus AP

A multidisciplinary and highly collaborative artist, Bianca Hester's ephemeral spatial and sculptural interventions into public sites heighten our awareness of social contexts and architectural spaces. Hoops: sound tests, performances, documents documents a series of performances exploring the potential for producing gestures and sounds by rolling and turning steel hoops. Previously performed in car parks, community halls, and public spaces, here Hester represents the work as a choreographed sound and video installation.
