Screenprint of a frottage made from a former bolt-hole embedded within a sandstone pier used to hold the ‘transit circle’ telescope from 1877. This was employed to determine absolute coordinates of the stars’ so called ‘correct time’ according to an imperial logic, and establish the Sydney meridian. Sydney Observatory, Observatory Hill, Gadigal Land, Sydney. 250gsm Stonehenge archival rag paper, various inks.
