MILLY JAMES graduated from RMIT University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and completed Honours (Fine Art) at Monash University in 2022. Recent solo exhibitions include Enjoy the Silence, 138 Gallery, Melbourne (2021), together with Recent paintings (2023), followed by New paintings (2024), both at Sarah Scout Presents. Group exhibitions include Colossal Cyanic Tub, Priscillas, Melbourne (2024); There’s Something About St. Nicholas, Holiday Program ARI, Melbourne; Menagerie, Asbestos, Melbourne; The Universe Speaks in Small Paintings, Branching Universe, Bard’s Apothecary, Melbourne (all 2023). James was included in the Quarantine Art Fair, 2025. Milly James's work is held in private collections in Australia and New Zealand.
